Alexander

We watched the "Director's Cut" DVD of Oliver Stone's ALEXANDER today. If this version really is "faster paced" and "more action-packed", as the box claims, then I'm glad I didn't see the theatrical version. There are a couple of okay battles, one early and one late (the later battle is especially marred by that blasted quick-cut editing that I really don't like), and some nice scenery (including Angelina Jolie), but other than that it's pretty much a snoozer.
